  • 'When The Wind Blows' - When I first came back from New York after 9/11, the wind blowing was a very real fear. A fear of being trapped by falling trees or buildings. Last year I featured in Arthur Cary's documentary 'Surviving 9/11' which brought to the surface many anxieties, fears and vulnerabilities. This piece was important for me to make for the 20 year anniversary to reflect feelings that have stayed with me all this time.

  • 'When The Wind Blows' - This is again the same piece. This was an important piece for me to make in 2021 as so much was brought to the surface. I have often wondered how to express through my work the feeling of the loneliness of suffering from PTSD. When I took this photo, for me it completely encapsulated that very feeling.

  • Raise The Roof, Perth - Twenty life size wire women sculptures bringing to light the story of these incredible women from Perth & Kinross over the years.
'Raise the Roof has been an incredible project to be involved in and a great honour to be asked to create twenty wire women sculptures. Being a woman artist, bringing to ‘life’ the stories of these inspirational women who have not been recognised throughout history, through my sculptures, has been a wonderful experience.'

  • Throughout the process of making the sculptures, the more I created the more powerful their presence. I felt surrounded by their history and their stories, which makes me want to learn more about these incredible women. I hope this is how people feel from Raise the Roof Project.
